A rather ordinary looking park—but wait!

Not an escapee from Jurassic Park nor from an exotic pet owner ...

...but rather a commonly seen resident of the park.

Most of them are about 2 m long.

A few days later I revisited the park with friends from Campbell River, and we had fun watching this turtle wandering the grounds.

Meet a not so prehistoric park resident!

Those little geckos are common and always fun to watch. I had one visitor in my room in Chiang Mai. The next day it was gone. No idea how it got in or out. Notice the long tail.
