At first, I thought the beams on the outside are of an easier to sculpt material, but close-ups prove it's ALL teak wood.

This patient volunteer guided us the 200 steps to the cave entrance and then just disappeared.

More steps lead to another little temple on the hill. One flight of stairs is painted in silver, the other in gold. The railings in the middle are decorated with countless mollusc shells.
